Trump's Polling Becomes Toxic for the GOP | Behind the Numbers with Rick & Andrew Wilson

"If you dig into any of these polls, you can see that the base of support for the war is shrinking where it was already tiny."

“Folks, every week, we tell you it couldn’t get worse — and it got worse again,” Rick Wilson says. And that seems to be the running theme each week on Behind the Numbers, as Donald Trump doubles down on his war of choice with Iran.

According to data from Reuters/Ipsos, Trump is down to 36% overall. Voters are hammering him on several key issues, including the one that is on everyone’s mind — affordability.

“Forty-one percent underwater on cost of living definitionally means that this is an issue that is cut into not only Democrats and independents, but deep into the Republican base,” Rick said.

And if you thought that was bad, wait’ll you see Trump’s approval’s with men, especially non-college educated white men — one of his key voting blocs. To hear their assessment about that and more, tune in to Behind The Numbers with Rick and Andrew Wilson right here on Lincoln Square.
