The Week in Stupid | First Draft with Susan J. Demas & Wonkette's Rebecca Schoenkopf

We're at the ultimate leopard-eating-face moment in U.S. history.

“Yesterday, just a whole bunch of stupid happened right at the end of the day, it was just one stupid thing after another,” says Wonkette’s Rebecca Schoenkopf. That’s an evergreen quote about the current state of things if we’ve ever heard one.

Schoenkopf, a longtime journalist who calls herself the “Editrix” of Wonkette, joined Susan J. Demas on First Draft to talk about a lot of that “stupid,” from the small stuff, like the proposed Trump picture on all our passports, to big fiascos, like his continued botching of the Iran War that’s left thousands dead.

Rebecca and Susan also talk about the state of journalism and covering Donald Trump as he continues to bully his critics by attacking the First Amendment and trying to get comedian Jimmy Kimmel fired (again).

And they try to answer the age-old question: Why aren’t conservatives funny?
