Our First Week of War in Iran | Military Expert Bobby Jones LIVE

"There's a reason that rules of engagement exist. They exist because we have seen the horrors of war. And we've seen how people who have not a damn thing to do about it have suffered."

Retired Navy Commander Bobby Jones, host of Anchor Watch on Lincoln Square, takes a sobering look at where we are a week into Trump’s war with Iran.

"It’s important that people understand this is not going to be something that is a short-term or easy operation to get off from under,” Bobby says. “… If we're not careful, it's going to make Afghanistan and Iraq ... look like a church picnic."

And unfortunately, leadership is in short supply.

"Depending on which one of the three [Trump, Pete Hegseth, or Marco Rubio] you're talking to, you get a different justification for why these actions are taking place, which is a telltale sign that strategically … people are not aligned across the board,” Bobby notes.

Bobby also points out the significance that all six members of the Gulf Cooperation Council — Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman — are under attack from Iran.
