It’s been three weeks since Donald Trump decided to launch attacks on Iran and gas prices have begun to soar. But the pain in people’s wallets didn’t just start there.
Millions have been squeezed by Trump’s tariffs, which were recently knocked down by the right-wing U.S. Supreme Court, and skyrocketing health care costs, thanks to the GOP Congress refusing to extend Obamacare subsidies.
So how can Democrats capitalize on the fact that Trump failed to deliver lower costs on day one for the American people, as he famously promised on the 2024 campaign trail?
