Dan Wheeler, who’s running for Congress in the CA-11, is also a lawyer and author of Optimal Stablecoin Design. He spoke with Sam Osterhout on Lincoln Square about his candidacy and work for responsible regulatory measures in the tech world.
“I engage in frequent conversations with our legislature and our state regulator about how to regulate. And over and over, the theme is set clear rules. Don’t pretend that you’re smarter than the industry, but just set clear rules. Let the industry grow up, let them innovate and offer these new products,” Wheeler said.
