How Christian Nationalism Fuses Religion & Politics | It's The Democracy, Stupid with Edwin Eisendrath & Reporter Jack Jenkins

"I don't know if we're having a theological battle or a political one."

Jack Jenkins, a reporter with Religion News Service, has been writing about the intersection of religion and politics for years, focusing on the rise of Christian Nationalists. He spoke with Edwin about their influence in the MAGA movement.

However, there is a resistance to Christian Nationalism from religious communities across the country. Jenkins highlighted a number of pastors and religious groups speaking out.
