Where were you on Easter Sunday when the President threatened war crimes against Iran, ordering them to “open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell”? Were you getting ready for church, giving your kids their Easter baskets, or helping them find a wayward egg?
It’s so nice of Donald Trump to give us all a holiday memory we’ll never forget.
Lincoln Square Executive Editor Susan J. Demas and Executive Producer Sam Osterhout talked about why Trump is flailing in Iran, how he’s being pushed by MBS and others in the region to keep fighting, and the economic repercussions of the war.
"I think it's also worth just remembering that he launched this war without a clear objective,” Sam said. “If you have no clear objective, you have no way of understanding or evaluating whether or not you've won."
And Sam and Susan talked to Tory Gavito, President of Way to Win, about the critical U.S. Senate election in Texas this year and other races in the South to keep an eye on.
"There are millions and millions of voters that are sitting on the sidelines,” she said. “…This is one of those moments where … we should just go whole hog on a giant set of persuasion campaigns."
This week’s Weekly Assignment for us all is to tell your members of Congress to impeach “Secretary of War” Pete Hegseth.
Think your voice doesn’t matter? Lincoln Square had similar campaigns against Pam Bondi and Kristi Noem and they both got the ax. We can’t let up now.
