Trump Loses the Narrative on Iran | It's The End! ... of the Week with Max Burns & Salon's Brian Karem

And Pam Bondi gets thrown under the bus.

It’s Friday, so that can only mean one thing — It’s the End! … of the Week.

On this edition, while Sam Osterhout is away (we think he tried to sneak onto the Artemis II shuttle), Max Burns jumps into the driver’s seat and welcomes veteran White House journalist Brian Karem, who writes a weekly column with Salon and Reporter’s Notebook here on Substack.

Earlier this week, Donald Trump stumbled his way through a primetime address, trying to assure the American people that the war in Iran is going well and we should be done in his traditional two-week timeframe. But that narrative seemed to go up in smoke as we awoke to news that Iran shot down a U.S. fighter jet.

“First of all, he declared that we had air dominance. … Air dominance? Well, then how the hell did an F-15 get shot down?” asked Brian.

Max and Brian also give their takes on other stories, including gas prices continuing to spike and the humiliating firing of Attorney General Pam Bondi. And they give some pointers to Kristi Noem’s husband on how to manage his rather interesting double life.

Tune into the latest It’s The End! … of the Week with Max Burns and Brian Karem now and tell us what you think in the comments!
