The news from the special election in Texas is undoubtedly good. The Democrat took the race by 14-ish points, which would be a blow out under any circumstance. But this district went for Trump in ‘24 by 17 points. This wasn’t a 14-point rout. It was a 30 point dismantling.
Yes. Special elections have their own quirks. But this is hard to overlook.
