IT'S THE END ... of the Week | Max Burns Joins Sam Osterhout

Alex Pretti was murdered, Don Lemon was arrested, and everything is terrible. So what do we do now?

Let’s review the week:

  • Friday, January 23: 50k Minnesotans assemble in sub-zero Minneapolis to show solidarity against the occupation of their city by ICE and federal goons.

  • Saturday, January 24: We wake up to news that Alex Pretti has been publicly executed in Minneapolis.

  • Sunday, January 25: Calls for Noem’s impeachment or resignation or sacking grow in Congress and in the public.

  • Monday, January 26: Trump announces that he’s sending border czar Tom Homan to Minneapolis to replace Bovino. Bovino will eventually be redeployed and have his social media access revoked.

  • Tuesday, January 27: Bovino is officially removed.

  • Wednesday, January 28: FBI agents raid and seize a broad set of 2020 election materials and data from Fulton County, GA elections hub, including all physical paper ballots, absentee ballots, tabulator tapes, and electronic ballot images.

  • Thursday, January 29: Don Lemon is arrested in California.

We are inside history.

Democractic strategist Max Burns joins Sam Osterhout to talk through everything that happened this week and the social impact of anxiety … and what happens next.
