We know that Republicans have passed Trump’s budget — but we’re still learning just how terrible it is.
On today’s show — which was shortened due to the holiday and some technical difficulties — Joe Trippi zeroed in on the enormous boost that ICE got in the bill.
“This is the $175 billion that goes to ICE for these mass deportations, the detention centers, all of that,” Joe says. “We've talked about this, I think, on the pod, but put that in perspective for folks. The Russian government spent $145 billion on its entire military budget … for over a year — spent $145 billion on its military in the midst of a war.”
