Trump's Plan to Rig the Midterms: Emergency Powers. No Mail Voting. No Machines. | Sam Osterhout & Fair Fight's Max Flugrath

The far-right extremists we feared are now at the table making decisions. Can they persuade Trump to take over the midterm elections?

Last month, ProPublica released an alarming piece looking at the Election Integrity Network, a group of election deniers closely aligned with Donald Trump looking for ways to influence his decision to declare a national emergency during this year’s midterm elections.

Give to Lincoln Square

Max Flugrath, Communications Director with Fair Fight, a group on the front lines protecting access to the ballot, sounds the alarm on the people behind the Election Integrity Network and what they’ve tried to do in the past for Trump.

He also explains the desperate measures they’re willing to take in order to suppress as much of the vote they can, especially as polling and recent special elections point to the potential shellacking Republicans are likely to see in November.

Since they taped this episode last Friday, more news has poured in about this developing story. Politico has reported that Trump is trying to get his hands on the Maricopa County election data, and that the administration believes it ought to control elections nationwide.

Find out what tricks are up their sleeves with Sam Osterhout, Lincoln Square’s Executive Producer, and Fair Fight’s Max Flugrath.

And let us know your thoughts on the midterms in the comments!
