In Trump’s America, there are always strings attached.

In an hour-long webinar, a team of government officials laid out a pitch for organizations: apply for funding that will help you in your mission to house the homeless.

It seems pretty straightforward. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will issue around $4 billion in funding to such organizations, and this year around a quarter of that will be earmarked for new orgs doing good work.
