She's unpardonable. I asked a number of Tulsi stans (somehow always men...hmmm) in 2020 what they saw in her that would merit their vote and the answer was, "She's hot!" Every time. She actually cultivated that male lower brain response with her campaign materials, the yoga poses etc. So much wrong here but principally the Tulsi persona, whatever it is this month, is a manipulative fraud on the American people.
Bad things happen to bad people and she'll likely milk it for effect. I'm saying this because I've seen it in action too many times being raised by a Tulsi-esque shapeshifting, outwardly focused, "look at me, pick me" figure. I understand my personal Tulsi to her core though she does not and will not understand herself or her motivations and unfortunately that lability is painted heavily with a broad brush across the MAGA firmament. Of course my Tulsi is hard core MAGA.
I'm saving my constantly tapped reserves of sorrow and sympathy for the good unsung folks, the animals and the planet being trampled and gobbled up by rapacious, callous unrepentant frauds like Tulsi who are allowed to run roughshod here in the USA without consequence and as you succinctly noted, ARE trump and the trump regime personified. A bunch of broken and misfit toys in the worst possible way, that gained power through their 10th level ability to perpetrate frauds, acting out their life's pain and disappointments on everyone else around them. All of them need decades of therapy but none of them would ever engage with it.
So here we are....these people are using our kindness, forbearance and sympathy against us. I am wary of spending it foolishly. I recall when the left extended sympathy and encouragement to Rush Limbaugh during his drug addiction issues and he openly spat on us with malicious glee. I'm just done with that.
I keep thinking that it can't get anymore absurd or disgusting than it is and then another one of Trump's cabinet members is taking trips to Hawaii, with a subordinate and literally screwing the country at the same time. But here we are again, another lost, desperate soul, so inept at a position, that even Trump is disgusted with her. And it wasn't because Gabbard turned on him, she just did nothing. Personally if she was interviewed by a Senate Committee, what does that say about our Republican Senators? It says they are worse than the lowest profession in our country. They are basically not worth the seat they are taking at the Capital. It really doesn't matter to the republicans who voted for Trump, they have no interest in finding out how corrupt the highest office in the land is, they just keep listening to Fox. I have never seen such ignorance and yet there is a reason, before Trump they never stuck their heads up. They didn't want people to know that their hate fueled their ignorance. Then here he comes again and the ignorant are now in their rightful place, the ignorant leading the ignorant. I vote, therefore I can bitch. I cannot demonstrate because I'm recouping from double knee surgery, but I can write. I write my Representative almost weekly. Living in Pennsylvania we are stuck with Senator Fetterman, a democrat who has voted pro Trump in almost every vote taken. I don't write him because I don't think he can read and I had to pick the lessor of two evils and chose Fetterman over Oz, the tv savior of American's health. There was no way in hell that I wanted Oz as my Senator. Now look, he's head of Medicare and Medicaid and Trump wants to get rid of both programs. Even if Trump was able to get rid of them both, it sure as hell wouldn't make a savings of any kind to the budget. I am terrified that Trump and his inner circle are going to bankrupt our future, my children's future and my grandchildren's future. It's mind numbing having really incompetent and stupid people in charge.
Shapeshifter does seem to describe Tulsi Gabbard. First heard the term in mystery novels set in Navajo culture. Now that is not a deep dive on the meaning of the word "shapeshifter" I admit, but but in Navajo culture (myth?) a shapeshifter or skinwalker is a harmful witch with dark magic to transform into an animal. Also, they are often described as deceivers hiding their true intentions and motives behind their ever changing form. I apologize if I am way off on that meaning. So that s said I will take creative license on the Walter Scott poem, "what a tangled web we weave when first practice to deceive"... and then deceive and deceive." Gabbard does seem lost in all the deceiving.
