I have been calling my red hat nabobs since this came to my attention. I don’t hold out for the maggots doing anything. They are salivating at the prospect of the older citizens being denied healthcare (save money) and dying early (saving money). It is all about the money, not the quantity or quality of life. If we are no longer useful in their sight, then they want us out of their sight so the can have our meager belongings and houses, because of housing shortages.

I was born with conditions. I hated fighting with the insurers when I was in the work force. I once told an insurer “I was born this way. If you have a problem with it, take it up with God.” Medicare was a blessing. I don’t want to have to fight again.

Great and informative interview. I had read that only about 10% of denials are appealed since they are so cumbersome and confusing. I had an appeal that took me months to settle because United Health had incorrect info on their summary of benefits. After speaking to reps, both noted that the incorrect info had been troublesome. I was forced to gather their names, quotes, reference numbers, dates of contact, receipts, and other info just to have enough info to process the appeal. I actually was vindicated and sent a check to cover the costs, but how many thousands of others either shrugged or didn't have the wherewithal to fight the health ins monster?

As the AI tech bros bow and compliment trump, they basically are saying, we are your subjects and let us know how we can make your grotesque life more profitable. We do not care about humanity, democracy, or the rule of law, all we can about is trump and profits. The people be damned, the profits are the god. I hope if dems ever find the spine to return to power that they use antitrust and other legal avenues to blow up these unaccountable, egomaniac and then tax them at high rates in order to compensate the people for the destruction the tech bros have caused in so many life areas.

It would seem to me that the important thing to determine in discovery is exactly how the AI was trained. If the AI is systematically ripping people off, there is a person who trained the AI to systematically rip people off. The lawyers should be looking to depose the people who trained the models.

AI itself may not be the enemy here. The AI is just a more efficient way to rip people off. Human beings at insurance companies have been doing that for decades without AI.

Good discussion. How this targets Medicare or other parts of our health insurance coverage is scary. I really didn't know this was happening. Makes you wonder about other insurance, like car insurance. It certainly is something I would like to know more about.

Using The Angry Mob Mentality For Change

Anger is double edged sword It can be destructive which gives this emotion a bad rap But it can be constructive when used in way to respond to threat WE the People are under a Nazi takeover threat and WE are angry at what is transpiring Our only hope is that the Democratic Party can meet the moment with anger and continue to not play by the rules and civility to quash the Nazis in what can only be termed a political civil war

With that said WE the People are behind the Democrats no matter how bad we may think their policies are because they stand between the democratic republic and a Russian dictatorship And I think that there is enough public animosity about this Nazi takeover that a Congressional mandate will become apparent in the 2026 midterms

So what does a Democratic platform look like? It better be darn close to what that anger that brought about the Democratic election results No more civility No more compromise No more reaching across the aisle It should look like a knockdown drag out fight and no taking prisioners This should include election reform to include mandatory mail in voting in every state and removal of gerrymandering , SCOTUS expansion, abortion rights and women’s reproductive health initiatives, end Citizens United and big money in politics, AND revocation of tax relief for billionaires and corporations

Unfortunately, AI is just analyzing your data and cumulative data. This will open the use of pre-existing conditions, and pre-existing possibly unknown to you conditions, as qualifiers - and of course, wrong guesses. We know how that worked out when it was in the private sector.
