Trump Started Another Middle East War. What Could Go Wrong? | Washington Post Columnist Max Boot Joins The Strategy Session

America's reputation is plummeting in the world and we are less safe.

As bombs fall on Iran, America’s reputation in the world is cracking into a billion pieces. Author and military historian Max Boot, Rick’s fellow former neocon who writes on national security for the Washington Post, supported the war in Iraq in 2003 before recanting that support years later.

No such support exists for this war in Iran. It is currently as popular as the Vietnam War was in 1973, as helicopters were fleeing with the remaining Americans.

We are less safe. We are untrusted. And we are spending billions on a war of choice that nobody wants and that could very well spiral out of control in the Middle East.
