Trump's blaming Canada is like most of his whiny bluster: just to deflect attention from real causes. If you live anywhere in the US West and Plains, plagued by the ongoing drought, the many wildfires (over 1000 and counting), and the heat dome, you know that climate change is not only real but getting worse. A positive move is like that in California's Central Valley, where much of the Ag land fallowed by lack of water is being turned by farmers into solar fields, helping the state reach its goals for renewable energy and keeping the landowners solvent. But Trump and crew can't stand to hear that, of course.
