Fascist Republican “Business Destruction” But It’s The Economy Stupid
A wonderful post done by Paul Krugman(bit.ly/4jzesyn) which underscores that it will take time to repair the damage that the Republicans and Cheeto have done to the domestic and global economy but certainly free trade is part of the solution puzzle. America's problem is how we can assure others to trust an electorate that gave us Cheeto in the beginning and that it won't do it again. The fascist Republicans that gave us Cheeto will still be around lurking in the shadows and the electorate won't be changing that fast.
WE the People need to face a reality. Fascist Republicans are out for power and $$ and the hell with the rest of us. They have touted for decades the pro business agenda that is essentially deregulation and destruction of the social safety net, both Reagan tenets that in Cheeto’s term have taken these policies to the extreme.
The reason that Americans are asking for extremis financial safety eg universal health care, free college, Snap benefits etc is because neither party is willing to address America’s primary problem which is it’s too damn expensive to live in this country. And rising inflation is the final straw breaking American pocketbooks. Rather than addressing the loss of the purchasing power of the dollar, overprinting $$ to get out of fiscal crises, putting a hold on government overspending by putting the country back on a gold standard as Constiutionally established in Article 1 Section 8, both parties are ignoring the major economic problems confronting the country.
I couldn't figure out if the look on Katie Britt's face was from disbelief of hearing her own Party's misinformation debacle, the kid behind her pinching her ass or having a bad case of the crabs. In any event it was P R I C E L E S S ! ! !
Thank you for the excellent article, Mr. Burns. It seems that MAGA is collapsing around Trump. Rumor has it that Trump wants to take the election ballots. That would be illegal as the states run the elections.
