It seems the last 20 years the right is light years more advanced than Democrats in the legal arena....using legal machinations to accomplish many goals. Dems face major defeats over and over and over again...losing war on gun control, voting, and a myriad of other issues.

What I've discovered is that nothing travels in straight lines. Say the Supremes go full Dred Scott on us. That will do... what? Oh, will the rallies get smaller, and there will be no chance at all for a general strike or soft secession because we will all be cowed into submission by our all-powerful overlords? Damn, son, that's what you're implying.
I'm not saying something real is not happening and that real thing is not being taken up by SCOTUS, but straight-line extrapolations for *anything* has proven to be a bit... problematic. The tone, people, it conveys a lot, sometimes more than just the statement of facts. It's like when people attempt to 'add value' by giving dark pronouncements (as if they know something nobody else does) about what ICE or the cops 'might do'... and they end with 'be careful out there'. Thefuq? That's a useless waste of virtual ink and real time. Go. Or don't go. Get a burner phone. Check out the forty billion websites advising you on your rights and arrest protocols. carry a couple pints of milk. Wear a froggy costume. Or don't do anything.
But *DO NOT* pretend you know what's going to happen. This is unprecedented. We're not Russians or Poles. We don't know how to act or think in this situation. They are trying to instruct us in that, but we've been inviting to fuck themselves very much. I've noticed their credibility is running a little weak with us of late.
