Sick And Tired Of Cheeto’s Diatribe About Elections And MSM

Aren’t Americans tired of Cheeto and his incessant lying about elections being rigged when not in his party’s favor? His most recent vindictive rant at Kristen Welker on Meet the Press on Sunday was not only the most volatile but underscored how out of touch this moron is. The demented psychopath quickly ended the interview when challenged by Welker over and over again that the California delayed reporting of voting indicates that the blue state is rigging the elections against Nazi Republicans, prematurely stormed out of the interview calling Welker crooked and stupid.

Of course after the “rigged election” rants, Cheeto went after the MSM and how they’re dishonest in reporting and don’t fairly report about Nazi Republicans, even though there is nothing to report on except their corruption, especially their complicity with subversive efforts to interfere with elections. When is MSM going to do honest reporting about the Nazi Republicans?

So the question is “Why isn’t MSM covering these sleazebags called Nazi Republicans?” Not only is Cheeto failing in foreign policy due to his incompetence, screwing over the American people with no meaningful domestic policy except tax breaks for the ultrawealthy, but destroying the federal government and defacing its monuments. WE the People should never give a pass to these Nazis in power. They should not hold public office for at least 20y. Of course after this national period from hell, they will plead innocence. Never again!

As perhaps have many others here, I’ve been watching the initial episodes of Tom Hanks’ new documentary on WWII. I should add that at the age of just over 81, I’ve watched countless documentaries on this topic, going back to Victory at Sea and The World at War. As befitting such a topic, all have had their moments of great power, although the best of them have certainly been superior to the majority.

I have found this current iteration wide-ranging, visually powerful, and a bit superficial, as if it had been created as an enticing junior high school intro history course. But then to cover adequately an event so vast and complex in only one medium is bound to have its issues. and I salute Mr Hanks and his team for their effort.

When the series is over, I fully expect to be left with the same feeling I’ve had through most of my later adult life - that, as I’ve noted here and elsewhere, my life (most likely conceived on DDay itself although when I much later asked my father, he demurred comment) has paralleled our national descent from being the Arsenal of Democracy to the almost unbearable political, social, religious, and psychological morass in which we now find ourselves. So while I am fully aware of the demented, autocratic, and largely inept depredations of Donald Trump and his myrmidons, I generally tend to see that as only the culmination of all the mistakes we’ve made since the pinnacle we and our allies reached in August of 1945 on the deck of the USS Missouri in Tokyo harbor.

In saying that, I know I may be seen as playing into the Right’s constant drumbeat of accusations that people like me ‘hate America’, whereas, in fact, as one who has worn my country's uniform and taught her history, my feeling is nothing like hatred, but far more a kind of sorrow, mixed with a degree of anger, a significant dollop of frustration, and yet an eternal hope that America, founded with a combination of vast hope and almost equal trepidation by those guys in funny suits and wierd wigs during that long, hot Philadelphia summer can yet become the better part of what we were designed to be, when and if we allow ‘the better angels of our nature’ to become our default setting.

Remember these years and don't vote for a Nazi Republican for at least 20y

The problem with that is that all those 'Nazi Republicans' are Americans too.

Yes, just like a moribund patient in the ICU with a positive 9-tubes sign is still alive.

There must be accountability or we will never learn. Joe's biggest mistake was believing his winning stopped it. It didn't.

Also, we were injured greatly by slow-walking Merrick Garland. If Garland did not slow-walk special prosecutor Jack Smith, we would have had part 2 of the Mar a Lago Special Prosecutor's report on the FBI raid made public long before Nov 2024. Never pussy-foot with criminals and fascists. Give them an inch out of "congeniality" and they will repay you by biting your head off. They are playing for ALL of OUR the marbles. People need to learn PSYCHOPATH 101!

Excellent post! I agree with every word. I'm hoping the 70% of us who aren't MAGA come together this November to drive a stake in the heart of fascism.
