What are the chances Republicans want to kill Medicaid because, once the billionaires get their tax break, some PLAN on using it to buy up rural hospitals, paying pennies on the dollar, keep them open (after taking a chainsaw to them, of course), still using the tax-cut dollars, until they can start charging fees (privatized on our dollar)? Then, what if Dems take over again, reinstate Medicaid and the new privatized owners are able to collect higher Medicaid fees for their services? Repubs so LOVE to privatize everything! And if it all goes south, years may have passed and they can blame it on the Dems! Is that far-fetched?

After the destruction a new world order will be established in the US. And the Golden Age begins from the ruins of the world wide collapse. All of the system slaves will love it. No more cash - just digital transactions. No more traditional criminal activity. No more tax evasion. No more transactions without the "all seeing eye". Outcasts will hate the world without freedom, hope and privacy. To cover up the mess and distract the public by smoke and mirrors, the beast will engage in a war with Iran. No, I’m not happy they will suffer. I am directly affected by his policies in the worst possible way. I will not be able to forget what Trump voters did to us.

This is very helpful, especially about the written letters. I've been emailing my reps almost daily since there are daily stupidities to fight coming from MAGA. I don't do phone calls, but I can write letters. This is so disheartening that I might do all three, not to mention attending protests and writing postcards. Real people are going to die once more because of this, just like they did during the pandemic when Trump downplayed COVID-19 and suggested ingesting bleach. That is a shame. I don't care who they are, nobody deserves to die or suffer to fund more playthings for billionaires. Joe Biden had it exactly right: the wealthy should pay their fair share. Nobody is saying soak the rich, but the rich are sure happy to soak the poor, and that is an unforgivable sin.

Lot of good it did me because the "chat" part was over for me because I came on my computer at 6 p.m. est. One thing I discovered as I was looking for their schedule like they posted last week, I notice on the home page of LSM a row of icons across the top. One was "live schedule" I think. I clicked on it and there was the schedule for the week. Not sure when that schedule was posted. Who knew. Not me.
I did listen to the discussion. Full of good comments and suggestions. Just felt like I was in school having to listen. Didn't feel part of the community. I guess how I feel is old school, but it is still how I feel. Roxanne, I know how you feel. Take care.
