Because of my heightened cynicism, I believe this entire "release the Epstein files" was a gambit start to finish by the Trump (then) campaign.
The big picture, as I see it, was that Trump would run on that promise, then back down saying the country really didn't need to see it because we have more important things to deal with, such as violating Posse Comitatus, and that the subsequent hysteria demanding that the files be released unredacted now serves as the distraction to make us not notice how we have lost everything of value that used to be our nation.
These then young girls continue to be cruelly exploited by men who have nothing more than a feral instinct for their own survival and that nothing else remotely matters to them. Clearly.

The path to those files being released is very much still open because of the Courage of our Military Leaders, as demonstrated yesterday.
Trump did not get his "Sieg Heil" photo-op yesterday and he'll never forget it.
Every Military Leader in that Room deserves Our Respect and should Receive Our Statements of Gratitude, non-stop.
What they and their predecessors defended was the rule of law.
Without their determined, unyielding professionalism, even while being insulted and confronted with the likelihood that they will receive ILLEGAL orders in the near future, Trump's participation in the largest known child trafficking syndicate in history will not be brought to justice.
Really, you could help move this along by simply declaring that the FBI files contain the investigation of the allegations averred in the affidavits of the witnesses in the case of Jane Doe vs Jeffrey Epstein and Donald J. Trump, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, case 1:16-cv-07673-RA. Publish those affidavits (repeatedly) and pull a Charlie Kirk by demanding that the Trump DOJ prove you wrong. But, publish them as the FBI records, because they are. Prove me wrong.
