Our forefathers were very strong in the conviction that there needs to be the separation of church and state. The so called "Christian Nationals" are anything but Christian and they want to impose their wierd view of "Christianity" on all of us - including the President, Congress, the courts and all of us as Americans. The first thing we can do is NOT VOTE for anyone who claims to be a Christian National. We also must support our ministers, pastors and priests of each of our own religions, but keeping in mind that our own beliefs are our own damn business and we are NOT going to have some "freaks" impose their misguided views on us.

I fear that the antics of Donal Trump have so preoccupied politics that too many of us are not paying adequate attention to the center of the coup to overturn the Constitution that is in the Supreme Court. The seeds were planted with the appointment of Lewis Powell, and they took root with John Roberts.

Donald Trump is ephemeral. The SCOTUS rulings persist until we get out the political Roundup. We should be making a six-impeachment roundup, not just reforms in the court. The Roberts court is unconstitutional. Their rulings are illegal amendments, not interpretations as they misrepresent them. The most blatant example is in presidential immunity. When you add something intentionally omitted as documented in Federalist 69, paragraph 4, that's an amendment, which is an abuse of power by the Roberts court, a clear case for impeachment. Even if they could make a valid case for immunity, an amendment is the only way to correct a mistake in the Constitution. Citizens United is subtle but not that different. Incorporation is nothing more than a business contract between business owners and the government, which is why corporations were not deemed necessary to mention in the Constitution. They have no rights other than those defined in their charter contract. Therefore, creating constitutional rights for them is another illegal amendment and abuse of power by the Roberts court. Their latest ruling that Congress cannot create independently staffed agencies is beyond the pale. I say this is not "good Behavior" under Article III, Section 1, which does not specify a need for the 2/3 majority or banishment for life of impeachment.

When monied voices can drown us out as individuals, we cease to be political equals. Children of the rich are not created equal. If the airwaves are public property, limits on electronic amplification and distribution in the public square are not limits on speech. The authors of the First Amendment could not have anticipated technology, so it is not reasonable to apply their words to something unique and beyond their knowledge. Treating corporations as a person is a legal shorthand to avoid maintaining duplicate laws. Applying those words out of context is gamesmanship, not jurisprudence.

Trump is the effect, not the cause. While federal courts have served to delay Trump, we cannot trust the Supreme Court to protect our institutions and time proven norms. What is Plan B?

Kevin Roberts, a coup organizer, threatened violence. They tested us on that January 6th and found us unprepared. Their army infected ICE and metastasized through the country, and we still are not prepared. The well regulated militias were intended to protect us from a return of tyranny (not the ad hoc ones). Are they prepared for that duty?

Consider the extreme unlikeliness of a Woodward and Bernstein deep investigation bringing down a President today. Their owner overlords would likely fire them.

Even the Republican party was considerable more honorable back then and told Nixon he would be impeached if he didn't resign. Boy has that party gone bad. Trump disgraces the nation daily and no move to remove his shattered brain is made by the Republican party.

It's heartbreaking what corporations and big business have done to credible news casts. It makes me sad that now they want to white wash what we get and it ends up making TRUTH, Fluff. The news casters are told make it "friendly" to viewers instead of telling us what we NEED to hear. I was sad when the college newspaper was shut down by the Board of Trustees of the University it serviced. Now it's a club NOT an organization training journalism majors how to credibly report the news. Morning news shows have ended up selling things to profit more money because they aren't getting enough advertising. In some respects I blame the internet for this. Many companies now advertise on there own sites and many have become monopolies. This is truly wrong on so many levels and hopefully in the future those big companies will take a bit of hit and have to split up their monopolies and give them back to the rightful owners.

I'm a long time supporter and I'm happy to contribute but I have a question. How, exactly, are you reaching unengaged voters or maggats that would never seek you out on Substack or any other platform? Are you buying ads on Fox? Billboards they can't miss seeing? How are you reaching these people?

Where did you actually describe how they are building a bridge to destroy our wall between religion and politics? I probably missed it.
