The latest No Kings protests across the country focused not just on Trump, but also on ICE, the Iran War, voting rights, and taking on the billionaire class.
I think it's funny that they think we are paid to protest. It doesn't work that way! And down playing it will end up being like depriving a kid of a toy, they want it even more. I saw 2 college students in the parking lot after our Rally and they ask me if it was still going on, I said pretty much done but there will be more of them that you will be able to attend. The rebuild of government after this is all over will be tough, rebuilding all the departments that they fired people from was and is vast, but I'm sure we can all do it together! I think the worst part about the pandemic is that our current leader was part and parcel to that as well. HE is the one that said COVID would be over by Easter! But then it wasn't. Maybe the MAGAs have forgotten it but many of us have NOT!
I watched Meet the Press yesterday expecting to find coverage of the nationwide protests that occurred on Saturday. What I saw and heard made me suspect that NBC has joined other outlets in tacit support of the Trump agenda.
Hoping this is not true, I’ll just provide one example:
In the intro to the show, Ms Welker mentioned protests attended by TENS OF THOUSANDS of Americans. She repeated that phrase at the end of the program, while showing a very brief collection of still photos of only a few events.
This was as alarming as it was counterfactual.
Last night, on the very same network the reporting got it right and said the attendance was around EIGHT MILLION.
How did the prestigious Meet the Press get it so far wrong? Not anywhere close to the real numbers and to my mind a deliberate misstating of important political information, tantamount to government provided propaganda.

Don’t forget that more and more it appears that there is credible evidence of pedophilia.
You reference CBS Evening News like it's a reliable source of info ???????
May Day IS a general stirke, not a protest.
Oh my gosh! My sister does that talking about Trump
I always tell myself and friends, it’s not like they’re asking us to charge the Omaha beach, surely we can make a small sacrifice
I thought that May 1st is to be a general strike - no work, no school, no shopping
My information on May Day is it is planned ad a general strike.
Local Indivisible groups are going to do weekly mini protests; at least here in Chicago

Did nobody else notice this?
