Across the country, Democrats are voting out the let’s-make-a-deal generation of politicians in favor of the get-shit-done kind. Jeffries undermined that by meeting with Jared Kushner.
How is it that when the Dems are in control, the Republicans figure out how to sh— all over them and when the Republicans have power , the Dems want to “work across the aisle”? There hasn’t been an aisle since 2000.
Mr. Jeffries is not the man for this moment. Maybe he needs to be investigated for colluding with the opposition in secret. He should not be speaker of the house ever.

I don't think they are capable. I don't want to hear that the dems are in bed with corporations . I want to see investigations and prosecutions. I never had any faith in the leadership of Jeffries or Schumer. His decision to meet with Jared Kushner makes me livid. I think it is time for Jeffries and Schumer to be stripped of their leadership position. I believe they are DINOs. They are bought by AIPAC!
I am profoundly concerned about the apparent naïveté of Jeffries. He’s a good guy, I am sure, but not the leader for this moment. Is it inevitable that he will become Speaker, of can the Dems put this to a vote?

He and every US House Representative is up for reelection in even number years (if they choose to run again).
Thus, if he is your Rep., you can vote against him if there is still a primary in his district. Not voting in the November election is not a good strategy, if the only remaining step is him running against a Republican. I really think tRump's 1st term win was partly due to some "Bernie Bros." not voting for Hillary Clinton in 2016.
