Everyone is puzzled by the irony of Trump attending Les Miserables. I don't see it that way.

What people seem to be missing is I think 12 characters are shot during an insurrection or firing squad.

The only mystery I see is why RFK wasn't at his namesake theatre to see the three characters who die of tuberculosis or cholera.

Why is nobody talking about the largest budget issue of them all? That is that the cumulative Bush and Trump tax cuts plus servicing the debt they accumulated account for 53% of the annual deficit. The issue is not the cost of entitlements and good investments, it's the raid on the treasury by the financial elites who bought the Republican Party. Blaming benefits is worse than a half-truth, it's only 47%.
