I quit Amazon Prime, Target, and as many of the others as I can. Buying groceries from farmers or local co-op. And preaching a message to counter Christian Nationalism and showing up at protests when I can. That’s what I am doing.
Ugh. What's happening IMO is trump and more particularly the forces that are propping him up and propelling the agenda from behind the curtain are panicking as people are pushing back and pushing back harder against the overreaches, trump's polling is tanking and the pumpkin is rotting. They are trying to get shit done as quickly as possible before it all falls apart also trying to confuse, stun, scare overwhelm people into inaction. Me, it makes me step in even harder.
Also the reason why women are the ones talking about WCN is because as non-person females in the dominionist faiths women are 2nd tier citizens, if citizens at all, so there is very little risk to status once separated from those faiths. Men still have status to lose and are far less likely to openly oppose heirarchal faiths. Same for Islamists. Women freed are the ones doing the talking.
As for what we are doing to fight: Boycotting to the pain. Amazon, Google, Meta, Twitter that was, Target, WAPO (pretty much all of legacy media) and all the knee benders, obeyers and collusionists are dead to us. No more money, time, attention. We are buying food, fuel, and medical care locally, as mindfully and as low on the totem pole as possible. We're part of the Visibility Brigade holding banners over busy freeways twice a week. I'm writing rebuttals to articles that prop up the regime's POV. Attending protests and honoring boycotts. For every boycott that we engage in, corporate has gotten a letter telling them why. I also write letters to people/corporations doing the right things, that are holding the line. We are giving to our local food banks. Money (not insubstantial) that once went to the Democratic Party's fund raising machine is going to orgs clearly and visibly in the fight for our democracy, civil rights and to preserve our environment. I'm lighting up my Congressional delegation on the regular. There's probably more I'm forgetting.
There are very few days that I don't do something, more often multiple things, a force multiplier because I have time and resources. I really hate this but I will carry on until there is no need or more likely until I'm dead. And having been a captured member of WCN by marriage I'd rather be dead than repeat the trauma of those 4 horrible years on a national scale. End rant.
Most of the play game boxes are found in pawn shops, because bad things have happened, a murder in Nebraska, by a physician, who was radicalized. He sits on death row now. He murdered a little boy and his grandparents!
