Charlie Kirk's murder is a tragedy. But choosing to honor some victims of political violence while ignoring others only moves us closer to authoritarianism.
Iâm glad these people are running, for, office. Indeed they, are very tuff, races. I hope their constituents will vote đŗī¸. BBB, is so corrupt. People are tired of the, ( BBB).
I definitely đ¯, condemn, any political, violence, school, etc. it does show, any excuses, etc. We donât, yet? Conspiracy theories are irresponsible indeed.
This discussion is way past its sell date. All this drivel about how 'selective this or that erodes democracy' is old. It's what we were talking about almost 10 years ago. Time for some new material. Like tips on firearms training and stocking up on survival rations. The totalitarian ship has sailed, sweethearts. It's now time to think about survival, if that's even possible. Other citizens are the only ones anyone can defend themselves against. Trump's military and secret police have overwhelming firepower, so something entirely new will emerge as a counter reaction, but I can't yet imagine what. Maybe warring militias. Maybe a civil war (think Lebanon, not old Virginia).
The other thing that could happen is a switch in loyalty behaviors. My neighbors who love and regularly polish their guns may take umbrage at masked goons kicking down their doors to seize their weapons... for national security, of course. I may find myself, for a time, discovering common cause with such neighbors. Nothing is certain. Stay tuned.
Great discussion. Sorry I missed the live chat, but the video works well. This week has been hectic. The group I am in is trying to have democratic candidates in very local and county slot on up-coming ballot. Started that effort two years ago. Thanks David and Lisa. Hearing your perspective is energizing. Take care.
One more thing I don't think money should even come into play. Because now we know that some are being "funded" by billionaires. It's kind of like a David and Goliath. But just because someone raise more money, what their capabilities are what their platforms are should be considered more than how much money they raise in their campaigns. I don't know how many times during the last "big" general election I would sooner here what the candidate whats to do for me NOT how much money they can raise, because just because they know million and billionaires doesn't mean they will do anything good for our country and that's precisely what is happening now.
When you jump to conclusions and then say oh it was the "radical" left that caused it without knowing the whole story it's not a good thing to do. Heck "Thoughts and Prayers" would have been a better reply than blaming half the nation for the death of someone who could have been killed by a crazy person. Or killed by someone who just didn't like "CK" why do any of the people that pick up a gun even know why they are angry or hateful! And finally when we decide to "sanitize" history we never learn some of the very bad things that happen. I for one got a history education back in the day that was like that. Then I read Howard Zinn's book called "The People's book of American History." It explained all of the crisis that occurred through history that made our nation the way it is.
Good information âšī¸, good interview, ? Guess,what. I bought a new car.đ
These, generations I have mentioned, must beware, of any scams, and the fact they have not only made the most money đ°, supposedly.
This, is very true for the people in this country.
? Did you know, that, generations x and z, are, being, scammed, by the supposed, IRS.

3ī¸âŖ, grandmothers, and 3 of my grandfathers, were born in, Virginia.

Good morning, any shootings are definitely đ¯, wrong. Too many shootings have happened in America. Assainations of President, or a lot of schools.

I am waiting for Trump and MAGA to produce their version of the Horst-Wessel-Lied to use as our National Anthem.
