John the Democrats are powerless, they can speak up, but unless the majority party in the house and senate BOTH get on board they will all be responsible for another pandemic and millions of people maybe billions of people dying. While the world looks on and says yep we knew this was going to happen it's all part of the process!

When the fuck are the Democrats going to pounce on this. When the fuck is the DNC, DCCC, & the DSCC going to start making TV ads just saying that the Republicans want to kill you and have it played over & over & over again across media (TV, radio, social media, YouTube & print)???

This is the problem with the Democrats - THEY SQUANDER OPPORTUNITIES TO ATTACK!!!

Don't get me wrong I truly agree with you. And yes they truly NEED to start advertising. Because the drug companies are advertising now that there are flu shots available (which they may not be or you will have to get a prescription to get them. But they need to put that in their ads otherwise they are useless given the current situation. Either that or they need to bring back all those people that resigned and put one of them in charge because they are not loyalist, they are scientists that believe in doing good for all! And I think they also need to start putting ads on billboards so all people see them.

I agree with you. Billboards are a great idea which I forgot to mention because I see Trump billboards everywhere. The Democrats are very stupid when it comes to messaging and attacking. I'm going to call my Congresswoman & Senator and chew them a new one and tell them to talk with the DNC, DCCC & DSCC to get them off of their asses and start advertising. You should do the same as should ALL readers of Lincoln.

I might be mistaken about this but something I’ve noticed: my husband is an internal medicine physician who, for years ran a solo practice in a rural area in the south. I signed up for alerts from the CDC and the FDA to relay to him and have been doing that for years. It has been very common to get frequent alerts about problems with foods in the food supply that have been identified-very commonly lettuces-but I’ve noticed that since January those alerts have come only very infrequently. Usually they are warning about norovirus in imported seafood.

In the past few weeks, we got an alert unlike any I can remember: an occurrence involving 95 people sickened by eggs here in the US. Thankfully, the alert reported, that no one had died. But I was pretty stunned by the 95 people involved before the first alert ever went out. And to date there has been no update. Just the initial one which is also unusual.

This comment is abit off topic but I’ve been thinking about how interconnected all the areas that RFKJr controls are and how all of those areas are being impacted. I know the head of the FDA only answers to RFKJr but I’m thinking the scope of his destruction may be wider than we even grasp.

Useful republican idiots parade Robert Kennedy in his voodoo witch doctor guise continuing to flimflam and bamboozle MAGATs with nostrums and supplements from influencers, and medical theories quite at home with the rattle and the four humors of the body. The rest of us are being sucked into the vortex of this sinking pseudo-medical Titanic as it impacts the iceberg of disease and illness reality. Seldom have so few, short of conflict, been able to destroy so much so quickly. Like the tracking of abortion in Red states, will DHS begin tracking Americans forced to go overseas for adequate and trusted medical care?

I personally consider RFKjr the most dangerous member of the current administration other than possibly Nosferatu McGoebbles, (as Jeff Tiedrich calls him); Stephen Miller.

They are dangerous for different reasons.

They are actually worse than DJT in some ways, because I believe DJT has been used as a pawn by people with nefarious motives, whereas Kennedy and Miller are both operating consciously and with free will and clear intentions.

They intend to murder millions of people in order to enrich themselves or simply to inflict pain and suffering on innocents (women and girls, very young children, babies, the elderly and infirm)

I just read a terrific book, “ The Boys In The Light”, in it there are two young men who were Jewish slave-labor prisoners of the Nazis, one a German Jew who wondered at one point why his fellow Germans did not rise up against Hitler (of course anti-semitism was a big part of that, but fear was an enormous influence on the entire German population) since his regime was obviously so bad for everyday people. I found myself asking the same question…..why do we have relatively small protests of mostly retired folks with catchy signs, instead of massive action, walkouts and sit-ins by the American people who are experiencing atrocities carried out in their name?? Including the absurdity of Robert Effin’ Kennedy Junior taking a wrecking ball to our personal health and well-being……and threatening our children….

I guess a quick answer would be he's blaming vaccines on the utter failure of his life..he is a Kennedy and he just couldn't come up to the mark. He has enough money to stroke donny and get in government to destroy more lives than he can count... can't imagine what will be written on his tombstone

& for what? More tax cuts for the wealthy. Coupled with America’s original sin of free/cheap labor. 1st we had slavery. When that was ended, it was share croppers & tenant farmers. When the North unionized, jobs were moved to the South. Child labor was ended. When business decided paying minimum wage was too much, they moved the jobs overseas were wages were cheaper. Now they are attacking the New Deal/Great Society programs. Getting rid of them r3duces the cost of labor & lowers taxes more. And they are also attacking the minimum wag3 by bringing back child labor and just this we3k, Trump got rid of the minimum wage for a bunch of jobs/people. For ex, programs to find jobs for the disabled are attacked by no longer requiring minimum wage. An example: Publix hires people with Downs as baggers. Now they won’t have to pay them minimum wage.

None of this has been Normal since Trump arrived on the scene. And how the Republican Senators, all of them, fell for RFK, Jr. in the first place, indicates that they were never paying attention concerning RGK, Jr. Just hearing the man talk over the last few years, etc., should have been evidence and a warning that he was unfit. All the other incompetents they confirmed further indicates a lack of "something" with Republican Senators. You laid this out very well. Thanks, Don. Take care.
