An increasing number of Americans are done with him, but by no means all Americans. And many of those who still support him are still in positions of substantial political and legal power.

The game ain’t over yet; not by a long shot. The time between now and November will be long, hot, and very dangerous.

More and more voices in this space are naming imminent collapse and warning of worse to come as it appears that the DJT regime is faltering and flailing. Just in time for celebration of 250 years dedicated to the proposition that All people are created equal and entitled to life liberty and pursuit of happiness- in all the diverse ways that means. Could an earthquake of the electorate dislodge this atrocity pretending to govern? Could this be a whiff of hope? Stay alert. Vote 🗳️

A very informative and frankly, reassuring piece. I feel reassured that a) I'm not the only one who views all this petty, fascistic shit with great disdain; but also b) that the tide seems to be turning and 7 in 10 Americans don't think he is honest, intelligent, dedicated, caring, and wise.

We now must live with the decision that was made by about 40% of the population in 2024. If I had a giant, flashing sign that reads "I TOLD YOU SO!" I would wave it now.

I guess I won't, but seriously thank you Republicans and you uninformed, gullible independents!

Sadly, even a weakened Trump still controls what's calling itself the Republican Party which means that when he is impeached early next year, Republican senators, even with their depleted ranks, will vote to save him. Because they fear his loyal MAGA cult and their threats of physical and political death.

Trump is weakened and you counted the ways. Thanks, Edwin.

Terrific articles Lincoln Square. Frankly I personally prefer the articles to constant videos.

After coming home from work one day last week, I totaled up the number of hours in new videos produced during the day from the Substacks I subscribe to and if I’d watched them all, straight through, it would have been past midnight!

“But he no longer does any of this with the support, let alone the consent, of the vast majority of Americans.” And the sad part is that 50,000 lies, 2 impeachments, an insurrection, 34 felony convictions, billions of dollars stolen from the American taxpayer, violations of practically every section, phrase, clause, word and letter of the Constitution, the deaths of hundreds of thousands through Covid, blowing up innocent fisherman in international waters, killing innocent protesters on American streets, starting a monumentally stupid war with Iran, defacing the White House in every way imaginable and falling asleep in the Oval Office in front of the entire world was not enough for the vast majority to turn against him. All it took was a $4.50 price tag on a gallon of gasoline and $10 for a dozen eggs.
