Weather servces are being defunded because they are studying global warming which Republican deny is happening. Big donors to the Republican party are partially causes of global warming so Republicans don't believe in global warming.

Dictatorships Have One Thing in Common Lack of Empathy

Hopefully we can all agree that what Herr Homan, head of the Brown Shirts(Hitler’s paramilitary in contrast to the Gestapo which was Hitler’s secret police ie Kash Patel’s agency), is despicable, illegal, and reprehensible Herr Homan says he’s getting rid of the "worst of the worst" which is hardly the case Herr Miller who is part of the Gestapo has set a quota of prisoners the Herr Homan must achieve by whatever means

Today a DACA recipient was abducted by the Brown Shirts and taken off to a concentration camp Weeks ago a naturalized child citizen was sent out of the country

It’s getting closer folks First it was undocumented immigrants Now it’s legal citizens who are naturalized by birthright(Cheeto wants to end birthright citizenship and SCOTUS has essentially ruled against him)

WE the People should be appalled at what’s happening in our streets This is NOT who WE are as Americans and WE should never tolerate what is happening in our country

Getting rid of the "worst of the worst" is hardly the case No civil rights for immigrants Lack of empathy? You bet Should we care? Absolutely!!

As Pastor Niemuller wrote (https://bit.ly/3ImpTch) he indirectly condemns complicity of German intellectuals and clergy following the Nazis' rise to power and subsequent incremental purging of their chosen targets.

If you don't like what's happening to your fellow human beings, our immigrants then PROTEST locally and make your voice heard

The logic behind eliminating FEMA is that the governor can and should handle these emergencies. The only FEMA response I saw in Texas was the presence of SBA personnel to process business loans. So let's ; leave this to the Governors? Maybe not...

Judge Rob Kelly....and the members of the county government must be brought up on murder charges some legal analysts claim. I agree.

It is all so tragic as we try to explain what could have gone wrong and what could have been done better, but it is all too late. Too late.

As a professional engineer, I've found that in every failure investigation I've done, it takes at least three errors before tragedy strikes. Only in crime is thee a single cause. I believe that people instinctively build in some degree of redundancy or checks in their activities so that things don't get totally out of control before errors compound. Assigning blame won't undo the loss or prevent future repeats. The real issue is how they/we respond to the findings of the investigation. Will they lead to retribution of remediation? A lesson taught in management systems is that threats of retribution are counterproductive. The guilty will withhold information for fear of retribution, but if redemption is offered, they will often work the hardest to solve the problem. The exception to this is the leader who cannot admit failure and correct their course. They will double down like a compulsive gambler staying their course until stopped only by total ruin.

Actually, the IS evidence the NWS failed to do its job. The NWS employ tasked with ensuring coordination between the agency and local officials was forced into retirement by DOGE and has not been replaced.

Eventually fear curdles into rage. The officials in Texas will FAFO soon enough that all that 'independent cowboy toughness' they use to control their people is going to get crushed. They dig themselves deeper as they triple down and deliver sneering platitudes about football team spirit as people are pulling the bodies of their family out of the mud.

Ever seen a mother when her child is endangered? Not good, Hoss, not good for your health.

This is the "find out" part of FAFO when you have psychopaths running the gov't. But offer thoughts and prayers and go on TV, with loads of pancake (that still can't cover your scales) and prominently display your crucifix necklace. There isn't a shred of

"christianity" in these debased maggots (apologies to maggots, which do have a useful function) unless it's project 2025 and then they have it in spades.

Maybe Leon can use neurolink to implant kindness and compassion chips in 1/3 of the population. Then again, better not, considering his "rapid disassembly" of rockets...

Everything is bigger in TX including the incompetence, disregard for human life in favor of more money for the wealthy, and their cruelty. These supposed county officials should be in one of trump's concentration camps instead of bashing others for their deadly failures.

And never expect republicans to do the right thing. GOP, trump, musk, little marco policy of ending USAID. That deadly action has already led to the deaths of more than 300,000, including tens of thousands of infants, due to starvation and lack of medical resources. US abandons Ukraine in favor of trump's pal vlad, which has led to thousands being killed and injured as trump pulled US aid. Jim jones, Charles Manson and Lucifer blush at the trump, project 2025 death toll.

So if republican 'Christians' don't give a damn about taking the lives of hundreds of thousands, is there any reason to think repulsive creatures such as ted cruz will do the right thing to save lives in TX and elsewhere? Absolutely not. Republicans are more a death cult than a political party, and as trump did when signing his fugly bill, they will continue to dance, except this time it will be on the graces of those they have had a hand in killing. They should be arrested for crimes against humanity but they will instead be glorifying their mad king by promoting his Nobel Peace Prize credentials. Psychotics, all.

MPT...its a frightening Death Cult. These deaths mean nothing to them. Watch how they make excuses, accuse and cover up.

Republicans could find the culprits quite easily. All they would need to do is look in the mirror.

They gave the Biden funds back because of ridiculous partisan issues about using the money. Talk about shhot themselves in the foot. They could easily put in sirens but no because it was Biden's money we won't use it and save lives like a neighbor town used it for sirens, and saved the people's lives in that town. Yep, makes total sense to me! Tragic politics! Stupidity wins again.
