Definitely need to protect the aquifers. When this sparkling, historic, water is gone. Well, it simply gone! Without fresh water there is no life. I wish it was just Donalds who was wreaking havoc on Florida. We have waaaay too many officials in our government that are willing to let developers in without regard to infrastructure or environment. We have one such development behind us. They have been temporarily shut down because they were attempting to build in a natural bog. I don’t know who did the studies and told them to go ahead but he should get a different job. While ‘building’ this project they started a fire that nearly burned down our neighborhood and did burn several houses in the next. They flooded our neighborhoods trying to drain water from the aquifer (🙄) and they destroyed the woods and habitat of many animals. Just an example of the rampant destruction of Florida by developers and the government officials who don’t do their due diligence.
