I felt like my parents did when the brought me home in a wheelchair, not telling me what was wrong or going on, I watched as my mother has a breakdown, feeling as it was my fault. These parents must feel ashamed and angry and mad about their children dying!
Clearly you are not a life long Democrat that has faith in them. When the Dems take power they will enshrine rights and freedoms, set up guardrails to prevent a repeat, reconstruct a constitutional government AND hold all DJT administration accountable for their illegal behavior. (first thing is to get rid of dark money in politics, ie. citizens united)

I worry about my blue state that starts with a D. Here is what the local newspaper said the state legislative agenda entails: finally, after 20+ years, property taxes have been reassessed - naturally “s-lower” D in the south with ancient housing has some enormous increases (mind you, Leon mush pulled his corporation out of D moved to TX - D is panicking), School funding/district reform (our governor is a former school teacher which makes me happy), immigrant protections (we have had a few bust and grabs in D by ICE) and terminally ill patients can have medical marijuana in the hospital/health care facilities. Now I can go to the hospital and feel like I am in college again - what is that smell? I know, nobody smokes it anymore. But where is the legislation to protect us at the polls where I will be working? Writing my state representatives now. The Dem is great, the Republican is a nasty jerk.
