Thank you for writing this, Sam. I’m gutted for every victim. It’s so hard to square up the Mike I knew with this person, but he was a predator even then, I suppose. I was taken by how he took one of his victims to Liberty and drove through at 60mph, only to have campus police laugh and gush and let him go when they realized it was him. And he supposedly said to that victim, “when you’re somebody, you can get away with anything.”
As human beings, we must stop giving people passes because they’re “somebody.” These victims deserve justice. So many ruined lives so a few people could have more money and power.

Actually, I don't know if I ever heard any of their songs. I have a very stubborn adversity to anything that reeks of fundamentalism--even music. How the CN men think they can do no wrong is not a surprise. For some reason I am not surprised that Tait did not live up to what you pointed out he wrote in his songs.
