Even before the election, a majority of voters did not approve of more tax cuts for the very wealthy, but that's pretty much all Trump and the republicans have delivered. Nobody voted to have twenty-something, unqualified dude bros take a meat ax to the federal workforce under the guise of DOGE. Nobody voted to have the White House torn apart to make way for a gaudy, gargantuan Epstein-class ballroom, but that's all Trump wants to talk about.
People are concerned about costs [most visibly gas prices], the condition of the economy which stinks, rising inflation, and jobs that being lost or are on the bubble. Trump and his billionaire pals might be living in a 'golden age', but average Americans have been left behind.
I'm actually surprised his approval rating is still in the 30s, especially after starting an illegal war that's quickly turning into another quagmire.
The #1 question is whether he can focus on anything apart from (maybe) the Epstein files. And don't get me started on the economic ignorance of most of the U.S. electorate.
