Joe: hi, it’s Gail Slocum former mayor of Menlo Park CA. I have been an attorney 40 years and polical activist since around 1972. I believe there are lots of attorneys who can/should be enlisted to do more than ever in 2026, given what’s at stake for protecting the rule of law/constitution that undergirds our freedoms and prosperity. I myself have gone to other states many times to do election protection and GOTV-persuasion (e.g., 2004 in palm beach FL, more recently in AZ, NV and the CA Central Valley with the ACLU/Lawyers’ committee for Civil Rights, and last fall I used 6 weeks of vaca time to go (on my own dime) to work nonstop in the Atlanta GA area thru the GA st dem party. I did this all proactively.
I have never experienced the DNC or State or county dem Parties who have key races as having done much to network and proactively recruit an army of lawyers like me to be trained and deployed when and where most needed (Perhaps I’m missing something, though).
Yes it’s obviously all hand on deck now to gear up for the coming “showdown at the OK corrale” through 2026. Could you suggest any well placed contacts I should get plugged in with to see if such a wide recruitment effort could gain more steam and be ready for at least the fall?

I certainly hope Greenland sabotages everything Trump/Miller try to do there. That’s resistance, hopes and prayers won’t move Trump/Miller. God helps those who help themselves.

I believe change is coming to the whole matter of politics in general and perhaps the Democratic Party will call for the impeachment of many staffers in This current administration. This shooting was wrong. To me it was murder. There was no domestic terrorist, at, all, someone has quite a creative imagination.
Tell us what we already know, please. WHAT IS A FORWARD PLAN?? Who has access to the solution? We need an international firm to redress.
