I remember something from the late '60s. Here it is, slightly updated:

"The MAGAs told me, that if I voted for Kamala Harris, we would have a land war in Asia and rioting in the streets. I voted for her anyway -- and by God, they were right!"

Trump's reasons for attacking Iran:

1. Epstein files

2. Epstein files

3. Epstein files

4. Steal 2026 election by declaring national security issues because of war with Iran and then taking over elections.

When you’re a dictator your ends always justify your means, which we’re seeing with virtually ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ now. IMHO, this was the greatest fear of the Founders of our beloved constitutional federal republic when they wrote its Constitution.

When in God’s name will the ‘news’ media and the DEMS put it all together rather than jumping like outraged children from one of the dictator’s ‘everythings’ to the next at his whim?

The way our leader sways from one extreme to another in split seconds, makes me believe that if this conflict isn't over in the 4 weeks he says it will be. He will drop support like a stone into the ocean. And it will be onto the next country to plunder. He never has time to make up a back up plan, so unlike when George W was in office he at least got permission and followed through with a plan. The current one neither got permission from congress nor does he even know what he will do if stuff doesn't work out in the time frame he's stated. NO permission, NO plan B so wrong on so many levels and most likely will end with him going on to yet another country to conquer the same way!

Not even close, because they have no clear strategic goals. Shock and awe may look great on TV, but they are no replacement for strategic planning.

The title is an understatement! I enthusiastically agree.

Let us sum up.

1. The war was started, illegally and unilaterally, by a drooling cretin who's lost control of his bowels, his mind, and his party. It is only idiotic to play the "oh, let's try and figure out the rationale he may have hidden under the giant pile of pony poop he left for us". Please stop doing that, it wastes time and virtual ink.

2. Quoting his hagiographic knob-slobberers (looking at you Scott Jennings) is likewise idiotic. They reliably say exactly what you'd expect. Please find a man biting dog story so we don't fall over with boredom.

3. Release the Epstein Files.

"Now, look, I happen to know a little about leadership. I've had to work with a lot of nations, for that matter, at odds with each other. And I tell you this: you do not lead by hitting people over the head. Any damn fool can do that, but it's usually called 'assault'- not 'leadership'... I'll tell you what leadership is. It's persuasion - and conciliation - and education - and patience. It's long, slow, tough work."
