With regards to the Fyre Fest I read somewhere that there were oh, maybe 200 people there. I was truly a very "small" affair. The reason he has no data is because his OMB isn't releasing and data anymore. One has to find the economic data elsewhere! And finally him even talking about the economy when he has NO clue about anything economic is like RFK, Jr talking about health things without having a degree in medicine or something at least a bit closer. I just saw rehash of the Mt Airy Rally and it was more of the same to me. More rants and blathering about nothing. Thank you Rick for all you can tell us about just what's going through his mind at any time because I know most of the time I truly don't get anything he tells us, I don't get all of the EO's he signs without every reading them (bad idea but I know he doesn't reading very well) and I know his puppeteers and how evil most of them are.

Well done again Mr. Rick Wilson! Always makes me chuckle when I read these and a chuckle goes a long way nowadays in our current shithole president moment.

Christian Nationalism: Nazi Republican Eugenics Program

The point of cruelty of Cheeto’s regime is to show dominance by the "superior race" The question they put to the electorate: don't you want to be part of the superior group? It's in the DNA of the Chrsitian Nationalist movement to be evil and cruel

RFK Jr’s anti vaccine policy fit very nicely with the far right’s eugenics stand because at the heart of his policy is that the strong don’t need vaccines and by prohibiting vaccines to the general population you inherently weed out the weak

The Christian Nationalist racist movement is a reinvention of eugenics in the guise of supporting white Christian values At the center of the movement is that white Christians are superior to all the rest of the world on a genetics level and therefore should rule the world Cheeto’s abusive language toward not only the “inferior immigrants” but recently he’s been going after Europeans as well depicts his sordid idea that supports the eugenics of the Christian Nationalists

But this worn out trope of superiority that rang true in Hitler’s Nazi Germany is as old as humans have occupied the planet Men aren’t created equal because men always seek to assert their dominance over others, seeking to make them better than the others In the end though, we all come from the same Maker and are deemed with certain inalienable rights The attack on these rights by the Nazi Republicans, Cheeto, and his obsequious billionaires all but doom the Christian Nationalist movement

The most recent South Park episode now airing on Paramount Plus is a hilarious parody of the lunacy of Christian Nationalism and the underpinnings that Cheeto and Just Dance Vance have with the movement

I guess I take solace that this tour will only disintegrate from here -- perhaps the insanity and destructiveness and hatred he has toward his own base will actually break through cult-brain for some percentage of MAGA still listening. Of course, this doesn't help the fact that he and Miller and Haugue-seth and the rest of the Nazi sympathizers are still in power and getting more cruelly abusive by the day. Maybe the acceleration of abuse will drive enough GOP senators into the impeachment column. That is the immediate remedy open to us. Well. A girl can dream. Thanks, Rick, for another shockingly vivid and entertaining look at our current politics.

If you are referring to the average citizen--that is, the majority of us without great wealth or influence--the number 1 thing: keep speaking out: to your neighbors, at demonstrations, to your reps in Congress, regardless of party. Volunteer for a campaign, or be a volunteer poll worker. Until these creeps in charge are voted out of office, things with not get better.

Thank you, Mr. Wilson. If djt had ever lived a normal life, he’d know it’s hard to argue with a cash register tape and a bank bakance.

Thank you Rick for a great post. Creative writing is one of your great talents and it always gets me motivated to 'stay angry' at what's happening. Date night with Renee at Trump's pathetic rally!, I certainly appreciate you and Renee sacrificing your time to keep us informed. And glad you're in the fight, thanks.

Your writing....blows me away. I am surprised to be in awe of a former, GOP?, operative...I'm an FDR dem. Now a Mamdani, Jasmine Crockett dem. We need a new paradigm...one whose core posits a government that belongs to US, not the wealthy. WE actual WORKER bees are resonsible for their wealth. They make money from money. Not from either intellect or hard work. Just ask us. We'll share. Yes....I'll die dreaming that. Wealth = power....and ALWAYS wins. But thanks for your writing...and the clear thinking behind it.

I dream of the day I no longer hear his voice or see his image. I long for the day where the words "hoax" and "fake news" elicit nothing but scorn. Integrity, diplomacy, decorum, empathy.....let these words be used on the leaders of our future.

No matter what, Rick, ETTD! Let’s hope that happens sooner than later. Among other things I’d like it if we don’t start WWIII over oil. And wouldn’t it be nice if the ICC lands a hard ‘sorry’ on the demand to give him/them a free pass? There’s SO much more! (Yes, I know this is off-topic; thanks for getting me started on this early Sunday morning!!)

Can't understand the "other" Americans who still support trump. Maybe they just hate the things he hates - or says he hates. The very wealthy - like him - seem to be "like him". He is offering them great things. $$$$$$$ and popularity.

All this is true. The image of Trump “be-spanxed” and imagining him getting INTO Spanx won’t go away. And yet…the crowd cheered. A deteriorating dotard schlumped before them spouting half-truths, lies, and damn lies, and they cheered. Until those folks are hit hard enough by his policies to sit silent, to boo him, to get up and leave the venue, or to not show up in the first place…we have a giant problem.
