Someone needs to plan a national boycott and a national strike. We need to stop buying and stop transport of goods. Everything needs to come to a halt, and watch Republicans sweat.
While waving my American Flag (which we must reclaim) on a busy street on Saturday, I noticed something. For every finger given, twenty cars were honking in support. The contrast between the joy of us being together and the enmity from MAGA heartened me. Nothing long-term can be built on hate.
This was a test for the Mid-Terms. The chances of unconstitutional interference dropped by 90%. The continued brutality, coupled with the obscene, disgusting meme generated by the WH, sets the proper tone. I do not doubt that Trump will be Trump, true to the end as a hopeless narcissist. But those kites in Congress are paying close attention. I'm reading where the support for Intergrassa's is in trouble. The dike is springing leaks everywhere- Rand on Venezuela, MTG on Epstein, to name a few.
Let's keep the pressure on, like any good stress test. Goodness will be revealed. Become familiar with James Talarico, and please Chuck Schumer. Thanks for your service.
Cheeto And the Nazi Economic Game: Screw Everybody Except The Wealthy
It has been clear since the 1980’s and Reagan that the main economic policy was to hand their wealthy donor class tax breaks and make the rest of the electorate pay for it It’s the story of the privileged class, superior genetics(RFK Jr and his eugenics crap), and “we deserve to rule” kind of policy that led eventually to the political strategy of “trickle down economics(TDE)” Give the wealthy a bunch of money out of the pockets of the middle class and then that money will be distributed to the inferior human beings “below them” The Republican gambit has always been “we’re better than everyone else” so join us….we’ll elevate your game
A couple of studies have now shown that TDE doesn’t work and that the wealthy just become wealthier with an ever increasing wealth gap as a result and as a result everybody else gets poorer It’s now clear that that Cheeto and the Nazis are living Greed/Power Corrupts, and Absolute Greed/Power Corrupts Absolutely
Yes, the protests over the weekend in my view are about saving the democratic Republic but that societal unrest has underpinnings in the economic inequality that is being foisted on the American people by the current Nazi regime in the guise of inflation WE the People have had enough and it’s French Revolution 2.0(21st century style) and the way to screw the wealthy is to tax them and level the playing field(in the 1950’s the effective tax rate for top 1% was 42 to 45% and now 26 to 28%!!!)
Hit them where they live with a sustained, organized ECONOMIC BOYCOTT of select industries and big-box stores. Next to voting, the "power of the purse" is the strongest protest tactic we the people possess. Studies have shown that just a small percentage of people willing to make a small sacrifice can make a profound impact.
"Whut we have heah.... is a failyuh to 'municate" - a famous quote from the 1967 film Cool Hand Luke. It is spoken by the prison camp warden (Strother Martin) to the rebellious inmate Luke (Paul Newman) after an escape attempt, and it has become iconic for describing a breakdown in communication. The response from the driver of the tinker's wagon cartwheeling down the slope of history?
What NKD II evoked from s--t-carrying jet pilot Der Fuhrer in his infantile rage last week.
I am so glad I participated and will show up at NKD III until we get the 3.5% tipping point that will sweep/sink this authoritarian wagon into the dustbin of history. Might take a while, but "man's inhumanity to man" (American style) evidenced by insane ICE miscreants will come to an end. The next protest will showcase the obvious inattention of our yclept "leader" to the needs and wants of our own country - and his servile reaction to the totally peaceful rising up of 7 million+ Americans/immigrants against totalitarianism. He is just trying to pick a fight so he can invoke the Insurrection Act - which he might do anyway, when he realizes that Americans can't/won't take it anymore.
What comes next? It's great that we had 7 million protesting, but what do we do next. Marching is a good symbol, but we need to do more. We need leaders to tell us what to do to be sure we have elections in 2026 and 2028!
For openers, let's pile into Santa Monica's next-scheduled NKD III with busloads of local people to tell authoritarian-oriented despot-types what-for - - that is Steven Miller's home town... just like what is gonna happen in Foggy Bottom on November 5.

During the Civil Rights era Birmingham Al capitulated after 5% drop in local businesses
