Been leaving my footprints around but I just lifted up the No Kings Rally coming up to a club I am in. Sort of met with silence and a few eye rolls, but I sort of expected that. Great job Lisa and David. I am as engaged as I can be, gave little donations to Democrats everywhere. But now I am barraged by every campaign while facing overwhelming rising costs in my own home. So I love being a lifelong Democrat, but I want the shutdown to end but with the restoration of the ACA and Medicare spending especially while the MAGA cult continues to hurt Americans.

The full-time nature, the bigger scale of R's assault on democracy is what makes me so despondent about the future of this country, and why I'm actively thinking of being an expat in retirement. They're not going away....and trust me, as a former Evangelical, I know this truth deep in my bones.
