You'll forgive me (I hope) for being a lump of coal in the Christmas stocking, but despite reading more than a few articles about how Trump is fading, we have this: Trump is still the president, Hegseth is still secretary of defense ordering war crimes, ICE goon squads are still arresting nonviolent immigrants, and Dems are giddy about an election in which their candidate lost by 9 points. And, worst of all in my opinion, who knows how many people will die because of a whack--job lunatic running our health department. What I want to read about is how we stop these authoritarian creeps from doing their damage in the here and now, and not pin our hopes on the ever-elusive Epstein files, and an election 11 months out. Because I still don't see anyone actually stopping Trump from taking a wrecking ball to American democracy. Like I said, I'm a lump of coal. Sorry.

I was scared of Ghosts when I was really young. Those ghosts that lurked under the bed. ---Then came Casper the Friendly Ghosts--and then came growing up. But frankly I hope the Ghosts of past, present and future haunt the White House, the Supreme Court, the Republican House and Senate. Will things change? Not sure, but I live in hope that the Blue Ghosts will help point the way to change. Thanks Lisa. Always enjoy your articles for helping to point the way. Take care.
