That’s really good! That Mike Lee, legislation was stopped!

Yes, they do have that right to believe in themselves as Christian White Nationalists!

Our common ancestor is the ape, that is for sure and certain!

Yes, he was, most definitely, concerning religion.

Yes, I agree , the former Superintendent of Education, wanted Bibles, in classrooms for teaching students. Ryan, Walter, he also wanted the Ten Commandments raised up in the schools! He resigned, because they were going to impeach him. He may running for Governor of Oklahoma still.

Earlier today I posted the comment "The Bible makes no pretense of being a scientific text." I suppose I will be hearing from white Christian Nationalists for that comment.

Christian Nationalists claim everything God meant for humans to know is in the Bible. To them, it’s the only science book we need.

But you’re right, Margaret. The Bible makes no claim to being a science book. WCNs anointed themselves gods and interpreted it that way.

Trying? Achieving would be more accurate.

You really passed up the opportunity to title it "I'm Dreaming of a White Christian"?

In the Garden, it was the Tree Of Knowledge which bore the forbidden fruit.

Religion is explicitly a one-way trip to stupid. These cretins *know* they're on the losing side of history. Secular Humanism 1, Religion Zippa-dee-doo-dah. Fuck those bastards.

And I still don't understand why a Tree of Life was necessary when Adam and Eve didn't face death until they ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. But their response is always something like "That's the way God designed it" or "God didn't mean for us to know everything" or "God is in control" or whatever.

But yes, George. You make a valid point about their hatred of knowledge. It is rooted into the very tree they use for their story.

When people tell you who they are, listen.

2026: A Year Of Revolution

One has to admit that the past year has been miserable, unjust, and unaffordable under the Cheeto regime uninterested in helping the American people Yes, there has been hope in seeing the burgeoning protests by a growing number of millions of dissatisfied dissenters and federal judges upholding the Constitution

But if we’ve learned anything about our own American history a Revolution as many others against a dictator takes countless months of action, continually pressing against the attempt to destroy the democratic republic As in the French Revolution or the Bolshevik uprising in the remembered past it takes time to rally the persecuted into a mobilized angry energized populace who arrests the levers of power from the dictator/king

So in the background of 2025 the stage is set for 2026 as the year of Revolution where angry public sentiment against Cheeto’s corrupt cruel regime will grow to a fever pitch and by November the electorate will show the Nazi Republicans the door In the meantime WE the People need to keep up the rhetoric and not forget our purpose Pedal to the metal folks

It's vital that everyone realize this is a marathon, not a sprint. Daily pedal to the metal will be important, along with mental health breaks as necessary.

I keep wondering why the media uses the term "Islamic Extremists" but is not calling this movement in the US "Christian Extremists". They seem to have similar goals.

Christian Nationalist sounds more benign than it is.

This! I’ve always said that any news source using the term “radical Islamic terrorist” should also be required to say “radical Christian terrorist” when applicable (ie, a Christian planting a bomb at an abortion clinic because of opposition to abortion). Likewise, any news source reporting that a crime was committed by an illegal alien should be required to say that a crime was committed by a native-born US citizen when that’s the case.

Laura, we dug into this issue in June. In a search of the NY Times archives back to 1851, some version of "islamic extremist" was used in almost 4,000 stories, almost 3,600 of those after 9/11.

Some version of the term "Christian extremist" was used in LESS THAN 100 STORIES.

Corporate media fails us in many, many ways, but this unwillingness to 1. Learn what Christian Nationalism is; and 2. Expose it through reporting is a catastrophic failure that we will carry for generations.

Lincoln Square is one of the few groups who consistently have me and others on to cover this issue. ProPublica also does good investigative journalism about WCN. Increasingly, The Guardian is covering this topic. It's important to highlight and share these stories, because the more people see them, the more outlets may cover this issue.
