Was Jeff Bezos telling the truth about his first, most public act of undermining The Washington Post - the spiking of the editorial board's decision to endorse Kamala Harris? No.
Has Bari Weiss done anything to show she's interested in 'restoring trust' rather than pushing her long-term right-wing agenda on a formerly respected news organization? No.
Is there ANYTHING in RFKjr's decades-long attacks on vaccines or pushing quack cures that makes people believe he gives a damn about science or promoting public health? Hell no!
The trust trap, it seems to me, is that the people most actively squawking about a lack of trust are clowns, charlatans, or grifters. And the rest of us should more actively, skeptically question anyone's motives and backgrounds when they claim to want to restore it. We should be on our guard of their ulterior motives. The three people in this article are case studies.
PS: Trump will BLAME the "others" for a small audience. ALL elected Congress people should sit silently and make #47 wonder what they are thinking! Hold the cards close to the chest.... poker game. You truly are NOT lying about any of this. I look at it from another standpoint. I look at it as taking something that was good and making it bad. I will give an example for all of the ones you talked about. Jeff Bezos, too much money and not enough time to run a credible newspaper. Why the heck did he save it, most likely to sooth his own ego. Bari Weiss and the Ellisons, this one is a bit different this was to curry favor with our leader because after all he thinks he's the "deal maker." It was flimsy but so what. Now all of their news shows are shaken down and most of their news has turned in fluff. Actually they are more like FOX News and News Max now more that ever. 60 minutes used to be a great show, but that is gone as well. Finally, RFK Jr, first of all this man was a drug addict for years, why would one think that snorting cocaine would matter, well I think it matters a lot. He isn't a medical professional (and neither is Dr Oz)! He's a Kennedy and is associated with "Camelot" but I believe he was mainly the black sheep of their family. Dr Oz is a con man (like the guy in the Wizard of Oz) selling pills and potions to make lots of money. Whether he is a Medical Doctor or just plays one on TV I have no idea, but it speaks for itself! When William Weld ran for MASSACHUSETTS governor his former wife Susan Rockefeller didn't know why the RICH were complaining about taxes as she said they paid when young 90% (I think) before the big "feel sorry for the rich" push. He won, but sadly tried to go against Trump's evil Hate/BLAME campaign. It has all to do with the financial Wall Street Gambling that has gotten worse with now sporting events. Maybe that is why Kash Petel was jumping around after the USA won..... big win as Canada was supposed to be stronger. As a brainwashed Christian of my youth, I still believe in equality for ALL and not buying guns to kill others. Tonight I want to see all my paid Congress people sitting and enduring what we have had to listen to for 10 years. I want to have them do something to STOP the STEAL of our taxes for wars overseas except Ukranine as that is done to kill the Jewish people living there. I know that as my sister a John Birch supporter went to Russia and even learned Russian when the Communists that wouldn't let the RIGHT Religion be powerful.. She supported Putin as she liked Stalin's attack on the Jewish faith, but it wasn't finished. Everything changes in the world because we want to live in peace..... WOKE.
