What can I say, yes Rick you are totally right. I was a democrat throughout all of this crap and I knew just what kind of person our leader was way before many ever did. I have friends and relatives that knew of his antics when he was in New York City and a slum lord. He was despicable then and he is still despicable now. As for your other article you are truly right if one votes for this type of individual once and doesn't ever again you can pretty much believe they were fooled once but to vote for this same person 3 times when you know what has happened in our country you should be called a fool and also it's your fault that we are where we are now.

Thank you for calling out Merrick Garland. It took him almost two years to name a Special Counsel to "investigate" January 6. He's the modern-day version of Neville Chamberlain.

Until 5 years ago I would have assumed that you couldn't gaslight people out of what they saw with their own eyes. I no longer maintain that reasonable expectation. The US - and the world along with it - has been turned upside down with lies, craziness, some willful blindness and selective amnesia. As with everything today, not everyone saw the same thing, since reality is curated by one's trusted sources. I watched the violent insurrection in real time, but others saw narrated snippets that were fed to them, telling a very different tale. Now Trump has unveiled an official website of his Jan 6 "truth." I'm just waiting for the "reparation" handouts to compensate the perpetrators for their traumatizing experience with due process. Her trying to stop the certification gained Babbitt's family millions of our taxpayer dollars. Who's next?

Bravo. The unvarnished truth. Elite impunity is more deadly to democracy than any amount of rioting thugs.

The only answer to this nightmare, is to indict this president on 1/21/29. But don’t stop there, the 6 terrorist in black, for obstruction of Justice. For “everyone” knew Rump’s strategy was ‘delay, delay’ and our 6 in black aided and abetted his legal strategy. Jack Smith knew this, which is why he ask the Supreme Court to take the appeal immediately after the district courts ruling (12/23) but as their subsequent actions proved, they declined, letting the Appeals court to waste 2 months writing their unanimous decision, then wait until a day after the end of their term, (7/1/24) to override both district and appeals court’s decisions.

The court’s constitutional role is to interpret the constitution, not to re-write it to serve a political purpose.

Thank you for the article. I agree Trump thinks is the Emperor or a wannabe Al Capone. He never wanted to salvage his taxes, or how much he paid or the bankruptcies he filed. Especially since he wanted or agreed with the crowd on January 6 th he walk, down with them. They chanted to hang Mike. Pence. Senator McConnell long ago accused Senator Packwood of having affairs with other women to make his first power grab. Guess what Senator Packwood was doing with his wife having tea with my beloved grandmother and myself. She was certainly upset about, Senator McConnell. Senator John McCain stood up for Senator Packwood. Today The former Senator is 93rd old. Senator McConnell is not welcome a t any Trump meetings. He doesn’t look well.

Garland dropped the ball right from the beginning. I lay so much of this at his feet.

We are where we are because Mitch McConnell, John Roberts and Merrick Garland made it possible. When the Trump reign of error ends, and it will, we need to make sure that these three are elevated above all of the other toadies, cowards and enablers as the trio that allowed the Orange Anus to make a comeback.

Ashlii Babbitt disobeyed a direct order and died. Hawley ran for his life. Sen. Markwayne Mullin, Okie Plumber in Big Hat, cowered behind doors that were almost breached. He's all big now, not so much then. Fuck all these collabo Quisling traitors. And fuck Merrick Garland to eternity.
