I’m not sure it’s possible to hate the ‘conservative’ members of SCOTUS more than I do today. I won’t call them justices, because their cruelty renders that title false. I’d like to know how each of them sees the purpose of their positions. Yes, to interpret the law, but they seem to only be able to interpret to the advantage of the upper, more secure class. Shouldn’t our laws reflect our aspirations for the future of our society? If so, why are these people only able to see it -our future- as a nation suppressed and controlled by The Law? Why not envision a future America where people are lifted up by it? Where each individual is cared for and about, protected and educated, populated by people whose humanity is respected? If the law is for all of us, then the needs of the most vulnerable must be addressed first. If they are, everyone including the small percent of a tiny percent of the population will benefit as well.

Damn their (SCOTUS’) black hearts!

When SCOTUS makes decisions like this, obviously ignoring the will/feelings of a majority of people throughout the Country and to the obvious detriment of all of us, what can we do? There’s no appealing ‘final’ decisions. If impeachment were possible I’m sure we would have instituted proceedings by now. There is no justice. They’re neutering the Lower Courts’ reason for being. What can we do? I hope this isn’t a rhetorical question! ??? ☹️
