I for one am losing my sh*t, and will keep losing it until this illegitimate and destructive regime is brought down by our resistance. I cancelled my Disney subscription even though my grandson loves watching Pixar when he's over here. I will never bring him to Disneyland, nor buy any Disney merch. I will be wearing the 'new thing' every time I go out: paperclips, which Joyce Vance, E. Jean Carrol and others have suggested we do, emulating the Norwegians who wore them to protest the Nazi takeover of their country. If I knew what else to do, I'd do it. Of course, I'm protesting on Oct. 18, I'm writing my Representative in the House (decent) and my two Senators (useless). Maybe we should all start sporting sackcloth and ashes.
Yes if you fancy yourself a smart libertarian dude, to be silent on Kimmel is really telling. I think they would feel shame to go there but we should have beatific smiles on our Christian faces and welcome people to reality when they are ready :)
From Kimmel to Daud, and to others whose names we don't know, free speech, aka. First Amendment of the Constitution was shamefully and predictably under attack from the regime. Their project 2025 at work!!! We all need to call it out. Actually, we Americans do have trouble keeping quiet---so let's just keep doing what we do best ---Speak out! Thanks, Caller, the message is at work. Take care.
Let's not overlook the silence from Whoopie Goldberg, Joy and company on the View. Two very outspoken women and it is silence from them. They have now put their reputations into question. In 'normal' times I could see some of it, but, now, in this authoritarian, fascist state we are in, no way is this acceptable. It is astounding to watch the media & press bend over like this.
In all fairness, the cast on the View probably got the word from the senior exec about Kimmel before it became public and realized they would have been suspended asap as well,
The first silencing of speech after the horrid shooting of Charlie Kirk happened when MSNBC pulled and fired Matthew Dowd. As I watch, listen and read to everyone discussing the shut down of Colbert and Kimmel I am slowly losing respect for many of my "trusted" voices who don't include his firing. What he said was not inappropriate and it was before anyone knew how serious the shooting was or that Kirk had passed, Matthew stated only what most of say all the time, speech carries responsibilities.

Thank goodness for the new media like Lincoln Square and the thousands of prodemocracy subscribers! Let’s keep growing this wonderful community!
