In regards to AI, I remember reading a post on BlueSky in which the woman was talking about a “friend” that this woman could relate to. HOWEVER, the woman was raving about a “friend ” who is an AI virtual friend. The woman rambled on that she would be lost if her“friend” disappeared. OMG! The poster said she realized the “friend” was virtual, yet I truly wonder if indeed the poster had a foot in reality. Some people are so far down the rabbit hole, I question if indeed they have not blurred the lines between virtual and reality, and won't be able to be pulled back from fantasy land?!?
Vermont here, my R Gov mentioned this, condemning it, I was hoping when I read about this the GOPer (we getting alot more of those unfortunately) from VT was not among them but yup same group the Gov was talking about. Barre Vermont here, we had Emma Goldman and striking Granite workers, now we have a lot of R's. Sad lol very sad.
Much of the content I've seen that's generated by AI is often factually wrong and, even worse, it's unnecessary. AI is quickly turning into the tech version of gluten-free.

But as important is to develop a long term strategy for our movement As Marc Elias writes in Democracy Docket(https://bit.ly/4n0Qj1J) there needs to be a long range plan that requires organizing around a set of strategies that ensure the takedown of this radical right wing fascist movement that we have come to know as MAGA which by the way has been in the works for at least 2 decades This is not just about 2026 but there and beyond 2028, 2030, 2032 Apathy doesn’t win
As Elias points out we need to organize for the long term around the protection of voting rights, supporting each other with conviction and energy, and being proactive not reactive So much of what is termed journalism is merely a reporting of what has happened in the day While that’s valuable we need to go on the offensive with a plan to attack MAGA Sadly the DNC is woefully behind the power curve and it’s up to all of us to show up WE the People show up and lead the way but that’s how it should always be

This isn't just a group of some basement-dwelling incels kvetching to their mothers that their sandwich isn't coming down to them quickly enough, these are the supposed future leaders of the Republican Party - leaders of local Young Republican groups, at least one elected official, and at least one member of the Drumpf regime, and they are expressing the most foul, vile, repugnant, racist, antisemitic, misogynist, terrifying GARBAGE imaginable, and LAUGHING about it. I've been saying for years that the Republican Party was going full Nazi, and here we are.
