Lincoln Square and its contributors provide much of what few others do, news, and information, that can be backed up by documentation and facts. IMO, they are far more adept at it than, say, MSNow. I can read Rick Wilson and know he's not going to BS because the far right is looking for any reason to be able to sue him, and Lincoln Square; so he sticks to the facts and hammers it home.

Thank you for the article, Lincoln Square.I am gas I made the investment in democracy at Lincoln Square. I believe that thee are problems at CBS. I know that you ladies and gentlemen work very well together to present important news issues. CBS was a long standing in my home as a child with uncle Walter at the helm long ago when I was a child. Beri Weiss in my opinion has no journalistic integrity whatsoever. Pulling an important story is very unambiguous, unaccountable., unacceptable, especially since sixty minutes is an important thing. I know we will have to make the best decisions. If it wasn’t for the certainty of this uncertainty of this country we would not have Lincoln Square. Please subscribe to Lincoln Square folks these people, committ to honesty and integrity.

In the American colonies and well into the first century of the republic, the 'news' was delivered by broadsheet and pamphlets were the Twitter of the day. Anybody with access to a printing press could create 'news'. What we have now more resembles that reality than the 20th Century did. I understand the prurient thrill of recounting how very corrupt the "News Media(TM)" has become. Bari Weiss... isn't she just so *awful*?!?! But it means less than you may think.

Big News was co-opted into the service of partisanism in the past, but nothing ever rose up to challenge its structure and function. Newspapers gave way to radio, then television, but it all remained corporate and centrally controlled. Until now.

The New Media is disperse to almost formlessness and it is accelerating the destruction of corporate news beyond what was already underway. The corporations are guided by revenue and profits, news hasn't cut it in that department for a long time. All this frantic merging isn't to capture and exploit a pre-eminent news operation, but to consolidate assets for entertainment, which is where the MBAs say the action is. You New Media people are not the alternative to a corrupted news system, you are rapidly becoming the *only* thing.
