Drop the Senate shutdown vote complaining. Democrats got food back for our children while the Trumpian Republicans made it clear that they don't care if we die from a lack of food or healthcare as long as they keep themselves and their billionaire buddies in power!

Since we are not a parliamentary democracy-- by design to protect slavery and now, in the modern world, stealing from the poor to enrich the rich who supposedly will then piss their wealth downwards, ha! NO-- we have no choice but to vote for Democrats even as they betray us again and again and again and again and then use mumble-mouth to cover their betrayal. The ACA was a betrayal and now is dying because of the weakness built into it serving the profit masters. We will always need a one-payer system and will we ever get one? Over our dead bodies, literally. The Dems have as much to answer for as the MAGATS. Those Eight need to go . . . shame, shame, shame.

A deal means something is exchanged for something else, even if the thing is negative. Exchanging my rock for your Lamborghini is a deal, by this definition. Giving you my lunch money for not beating me up is a deal.

I am enthusiastic to know what the 'deal' was, in this context.

Shouldn’t it really be 9 senators? Schumer orchestrated the whole thing. He couldn’t afford to cave himself after doing so last March, so he carefully selected the exact number of Dem senators, the least vulnerable senators, to cave. He needs to be removed from the leadership position today!

I share the growing legion of folks who strongly disagree with this perspective. I think the D’s gained from this. We shall see.

I don’t have any representation at all ! Here in Ks! GOP doesn’t care here! They just collect a paycheck from the people of Ks! They don’t bother to inform them on nothing!

Thank You for the article! It’s has always been my opinion! If we don’t interview a person asking them questions! Perhaps 🤔 we should get to the heart of this matter!

Are people suppose to starve? Are children? I lived in Maine for 14 years! Senator King is a good person! It’s my understanding from friends there were lots of phone calls by people living in Maine! They were afraid! No one has really answered the question I put forward! I know that we won elections on the first Tuesday in November! We can continue hating these Senators! Have you interviewed them? Why not ask them!

Yes, they are. Project 2025 is explicit in its plan to sacrifice the lives of people for the greater glory and enrichment of the GOP's friends. MAGA is enthusiastic about this, they have already happily watched their children die of preventable disease and preventable natural disasters.

Your definition of 'good' is odd. King just capitulated to the monsters.
