This memo "directs the Department of Justice, Homeland Security, and the Treasury to coordinate investigations of what it calls 'organized campaigns of targeted intimidation, radicalization, threats, and violence designed to silence opposing speech.'”

Does that mean they're supposed to investigate the activities of their own officers and agents? 'Cause it sure sounds like that list of nefarious behavior applies to them.

That is obnoxiously fascistic. There is nothing this demagogue and his fellow Romans won't try.

I do have a hard time believing that it's not subject to judicial review and such. As I understand things, the Executive directing the DOJ and Federal Prosecutors (and perhaps ICE and the FBI and all that) to try to catch people in the act of free speech and call it subversive and prosecutable is of course an onerous burden for everyday Americans. But I don't quite buy that it can't be challenged in court successfully. After all, no law was passed--it's just a directive to the Feds. As of this writing, the Constitution still holds, and thus, this is an unconstitutional act. I mean you still may spend time behind bars and have to post bail and get an attorney--if possible--but I am reminded of what Adam Kinzinger says: "Come at me, Trump, you're a coward and I will stand up to you and win in court."

None of this means that this isn't a bridge too far--it obviously is. But it's not "full Orwell" or "Nazism in 2025" exactly, either.

Using the term antifa let’s trump define the word. Antifascist is evident and not subject to MAGA spin.

Cheeto And His Billionaire Buddies

Cheeto has become the Law and he asserts that he can do whatever he wants to including sending troops for any reason to any American city Now he’s cutting infrastructure programs like the much needed Hudson river train tunnel(constructed in 1910) because Democrats support it

But it’s much more that partisan politics as Cheeto likes to label his actions It’s more about the destruction of the country and hurting Americans, financially and physically, because he basically likes to hurt people He literally “gets off” on hurting people

So Cheeto and his Nazi regime with the help of his billionaires/oligarchs want to take over the government Billionaires are grifting off the government taxpayer money eg Musk, Theil, Karp, Antonio Gracias Protests are fine but the next step is to take on the greed and power mongering of the wealthy The answer is to knee cap these motherfuckers at the business level by exposing them for what they are after See https://acrecampaigns.org/ And onepa.org as a model

"Fascism is corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power". Benito Mussolini

NSPM7 is a document Biden should have done...but the Democrats love to fight with one arm tied behind their backs...and to act impotent.

I sound like Gandalf, I guess, but no I wouldn't suggest any American try this. It is obviously patently corrupt and fascistic.

This memo is a thinly disguised attack on free speech and it's a short step from there to freedom of assembly. If it becomes law or a lawless norm we will never have another free and fair election in this country. This should be front page news. Why isn't it???

Please use “antifascist” instead of antifa. Antifascist is more accurate.

Sorry, my alarm synapses are saturated. All the shrill warnings we've been getting from the Left and the well-meaning Resistance to "Not Let All This Get Normalized" have failed. Two things to note at this juncture:

1. By 2028 I may be in a prison camp or dead. Or not. It changes me not one iota. They will have to go to all the effort of rounding me up and all the etc etc. I'm sure I'll be a model prisoner, I'm 69 years old and my Give-A-Fuck-O-Meter has hit zero.

2. To quote that great political philosopher of the 20th Century, LBJ: "He's thin, boys. Thin as piss on a rock." Grandmas and inflated Tinky-Winkies terrified the absolute screaming shit out of Donny. This directive wasn't done coming from a position of strength and confidence. The grip is slipping, and we can now smell the fear.

He may have to kill some of us as a "show of force", in order for this to move to the next level. I hope not, but there's nothing anybody can do to stop it. We're all-in even if we hide and try to pretend it away. This thing was not written for Americans, it was written to contain people who understood how to live in an authoritarian society. We don't, we don't know how to act properly to suit a dictator. His call and response is not working because we're not responding as he expects. So he panics.
